CarbonMeter is a UK carbon intelligence company. We fit monitoring to individual machines and circuits, convert the readings into auditable Scope 1 and 2 carbon accounting, and use AI to find the energy waste that annual estimates hide. Our mission is to make that level of evidence affordable for every organisation, not only the largest.

Nishanth Kumar Sirivolu
Co-Founder
Software engineer and architect with a decade of experience across embedded systems, connected devices, cloud platforms and applied AI, including engineering roles at Qualcomm, Tata Elxsi and Sky. Nishanth designed and built the CarbonMeter platform — from the monitoring hardware integration and data pipeline to the carbon engine and AI analysis layer — and leads product, engineering and go-to-market.

How we keep our claims honest
- Every carbon figure the platform produces traces back to a reading, an emission factor and a timestamp.
- We describe pilot customers by sector and location unless they have agreed to be named.
- Capabilities still in research are labelled as roadmap, not presented as shipped.
- We publish observed results as observations — an out-of-hours consumption share is not a claimed saving.

Our methodology follows the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, with UK Government (DESNZ/DEFRA) emission factors and half-hourly grid carbon intensity. See compliance for how this maps to CBAM, SECR and ESOS.
