CarbonMeter is a carbon intelligence software company based in Reading, United Kingdom. This policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through this website. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@carbonmeter.ai.

What we collect and why

• Waitlist sign-ups: your name and work email, used to contact you about platform access and pilot programmes.
• Newsletter subscriptions: your email and, optionally, your company name, used to send occasional updates on carbon regulation and the product. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing us.
• Contact forms: the details you provide in your message, used solely to respond to your enquiry.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for purposes beyond those described above.

Where your data is processed

Form submissions are processed and stored using third-party services acting on our behalf: Airtable (waitlist and newsletter records), EmailJS (contact form delivery), and Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection on the contact form). Each processes data under its own privacy terms. This website is hosted on Vercel.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Spam protection on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set functional cookies required for it to operate.

Retention and your rights

We keep submitted details only as long as needed for the purposes above. Under UK data protection law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing contact@carbonmeter.ai. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
